Westcombe Park is a Bellway Homes Thames Gateway development set to bring 1,000 new homes to this delightful part of Essex set around Heybridge Wood and designed as a garden village.

The development includes 188 acres and M. Anderson Construction has started work on parcels 10 and 11, which encompass almost 20 acres of the site and 262 houses.

Once complete, the development will also provide sports pitches, allotments, open spaces, and a neighbourhood centre with medical centre. Land has also been set aside for a new primary school and nursery to be delivered by Essex County Council.

M. Anderson Construction Ltd has worked on the site compound and material storage area, a temporary entrance to sales area and show homes and extensive earthworks to raise site to development levels.

In addition, it has created 1.8km adoptable roads, block paved and tarmac, 4.8km drainage, trenching and ducting, street lighting, foundations, brickwork and private roads and driveways.

Site Manager for the project is Nathan Gillie overseeing up to 60 staff including subcontractors.
